There’s a reason Chef/Owner Brian Caswell of trendy midtown Houston’s Reef restaurant was a featured chef on Food Network’s ‘Next Iron Chef’ series – he’s hot! Sure, he’s easy on the eyes, but it’s his skills in the kitchen that got the judges’ attention and set seafood lovers’ taste buds on fire.
I love his Steamed Shrimp Salad with spiced pecans and tangy sherry vinaigrette. The combination of textures and flavors make for a fun, tasty salad. If you wanna turn it up a notch, try his Thai Style Whole Fish. Chef Caswell shows you how he makes this delicious dish. Pair with a Pinot Blanc.
