Sure things are bigger and better in Texas, and local produce and products from Texas often taste better too because they’re fresh! Chef Elizabeth with HEB’s Cooking Connections whips up a super simple meal with some delicious sides. The Oaxacan Creamed Corn is phenomenal! I love the simplicity and flavor of almond crusted salmon, and the Nacho Mama’s beans will set off any dish. This month HEB is celebrating Texas Independence with Tex Fest. From March 2-15 many Texas culinary artisans will be in the stores with samples of their products, so you can taste the Texas difference!
