Unforgettable Wine Dinners at Paesanos 1604


Paesanos 1604 is well known for their beautiful patio, décor and incredible food, including some of the classic Paesanos dishes. Now, the sensational wine dinners hosted by Paesanos 1604 are getting lots of attention. The main reason is Chef Clark McDaniel’s creative dishes and the wonderful wines he chooses to pair them with. I recently went to a Ridge wine pairing dinner at Paesanos 1604 and liked the Corn Pudding so much I got the recipe.

I wanted to let you know about a couple of the dinners coming up in the next few months. First, on September 15th, Newton Vineyard presents a Five Course Dinner and Wine Pairing in the Private Sun Room at Paesanos 1604. On the menu for this dinner: Jalapeño pesto roasted New England Oysters, paired with a Chardonnay; Braised Veal and Mushrooms, paired with Newton Red Label Claret and Seared Duck with Dried Cherries, paired with Newton Puzzle.

Then on November 10th, Paesanos 1604 teams with Rombauer Winery for another Five Course Dinner and Wine Pairing. On the menu: Butter Poached Lobster, paired with Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay; a Braised Veal ‘Pot Pie’ paired with Rombauer Cabernet.
