Crazy for Cupcakes!
Cupcakes are THE ‘hot’ cakes right now…they’re all the buzz. A new bakery in Gruene is getting lots of attention…not just because it’s trendy and cute, but also because of the fresh out-of-the-oven cupcakes they’re serving. It’s called the Gruene Flour Cupcakery – and wait till you see their yummy creations with creamy toppings in a big variety of flavors.
First on your list has to be the ’Wicked" – which is a sinfully-delicious chocolate concoction; Key Lime, Luscious Lemon, Berry Sweet and Snickerdoodledoo are all good too. The bakery also does custom orders – so if you need five-hundred cupcakes for a big party or event – Gruene Flour can accommodate it.
The Gruene Flour Cupcakery is in a fun shopping area just down the road from historic Gruene. It’s called Gruene Lake Village, and there is a unique offering of shops and a wonderful restaurant called the Gruene Door. Have an incredible Artichoke & Chicken Gratinee at the Gruene Door Restaurant for lunch, stop in at the Gruene Flour Cupcakery for dessert and then stay to shop. You will have a blast!
