If you enjoy learning about wine and tasting delicious food, this is the week to do both in San Antonio. The New World Wine and Food Festival kicks off today.
Every day for the next week there are all kinds of wonderful wine classes, wine pairing dinners even a fun family event called Totally Tejas out at the Rio Cibolo Ranch. This event is sponsored by HEB and features all kinds of family friendly things to do like hay rides and barge rides. There will be lots of barbeque too!
Each night this week features something different to do, and the choices continue through next Sunday.
The Black Tie Masquerade Ball is Friday night at the La Mansion del Rio Hotel…yours truly is the emcee, and from the looks of the wines we’ll be tasting, it should be a spectacular evening.
Saturday is the Grand Tasting at the Grotto at the Henry B. Gonzalez…a wonderful opportunity to try a lot of different wines and some fabulous food from San Antonio’s top chefs.
I’ve got a link with more information…hope to see you at some of the events!
