Yes, ironically the two have a lot in common! First, let me say that when it comes to grilling at our house, it’s my husband’s job. This man has been been bragging about his grilling expertise for years. But, I think he’s now met his match, and he can blame it on the D.A.
The man I want at my grill is Joe Doria! He’s the meat market manager at Bolner’s – a third generation family owned and operated business. I would have never met Joe if it weren’t for Susan Reed…who knew she had a soft spot for tender fajitas. She introduced us to Bolner’s and to Joe.
Some of Joe’s expert advice:
- What kind of charcoal to use (mesquite with a little something extra)
- What kind of grill (natural)
- How long on each side (depends)
Joe recently demonstrated his talent for our cameras, and even my hubby was impressed. I was especially impressed with Bolner’s fajita meat which is 91% leaned out! If steaks are your thing, they carry the rare Akaushi beef…wow, those steaks are so tender you can cut them with a fork.
Before you grill this weekend, catch Joe in action at GoodTasteWithTanji.com and while you’re there sign up for my newsletter for special deals and exclusive invitations to our special events.
