Campus Oaks Old Vine Zinfandel Lodi 2006
( $9.49 @ Costco )
A sweet, fruity Zin that would work great with spicy food. Lots of fruit on this one… black cherry, plum, blackberry perhaps a hint of vanilla. A jammy Zin. After being in the glass about 20 minutes I detected a hint of chocolate. Easy to drink alone but would be nice with some barbeque ribs.
For less than $10, it’s a Best Buy.
