I love new beginnings…whether it’s a new project, new friend, new day or new clean page to start writing on, there’s something invigorating about putting the past behind you and starting over. The ‘New Year’ is always fun to contemplate. Whether the past year was good or bad, there’s excitement in forging ahead and creating new hopes, dreams and accomplishments.
So much of life is about ‘newness’ – a baby being born, the sun rising, new buds in the spring. I want to thank each and every one of you for being a part of this ‘newness’ for me. Starting a new business after 17 years as a journalist at the same TV station wouldn’t have been possible without all of you. Goodtastewithtanji.com is bigger and better than I could have ever imagined in the short 6 months we’ve been online. And now, our dream of a television show that will entertain and enlighten about wine, food and travel from all over the world is well on it’s way.
I once had a boss who said the fun part of any project isn’t the finished product but the journey along the way. Some years later I fully understand what he meant. It’s the journeys we remember and learn from—with all the ups and downs. This is a fascinating journey. Your involvement, feedback and support mean more than you’ll ever know. May you have a blessed year – please know that I thank God daily for this incredible adventure and for YOU who’ve made it all possible.
Happy New Year!
