Good Taste with Tanji - Wine, food and fun with Tanji Patton.

I recently received an advance copy of “The Texas Hill Country” A Food and Wine Lover’s Paradise and have already put it to good use. The attractive cover (a beautiful, lush grapevine) and easy to follow format got my attention. Before I knew it, I’d committed a good 15 minutes to exploring the recipes and enjoying the brief descriptions of the colorful Hill Country destinations. Being a native Texan I recognized a lot of the featured places, but there were also some nice surprises. The description of The Cypress Grille in Boerne was so enticing I called my parents and suggested it as a meeting place for brunch on Sunday to celebrate my dad’s birthday. WOW…it was fantastic! I look forward to going back for dinner and exploring their wine list.
